Volumized hair forever, smiling girl

Who doesn’t like good old, sexy volumized effect? Or a messy hairstyle, beach waves, wild curls, or short pixie hairstyle.

All these different hairstyles have one thing in common – They all have volume. Here, we are going to tell you some great life-changing volume hair tips for every hair type. As a result, you will easier make long-lasting volume effects that you love. Volumized hair is just beautiful!

The basic hair care steps how to give your hair volume

Shampoo your hair very well. When is deeply washed, you can be sure that you don’t have some greasy leftovers, dust and the dirt in your scalp. Therefore, your volume effect will increase, for sure. You have to shampoo your hair twice, spread the shampoo everywhere evenly and massage it well. Make sure you did a good massage job onto your scalp!

Your hair requires moisture. Use a conditioner regularly, every time you wash your hair. However, the key tip for a conditioner is to apply it carefully from a mid part of your hair, until the ends. Please, do not put a conditioner onto your roots; this is the best way to make your hair greasy and flat.

Comb your hair gently, starting from the ends. So, apply the conditioner after shampooing, and comb. Make sections when brushing, or do it all at once, depends on your hair type.

Use a hair mask once a week, or once in two weeks, depends on your hair.

As we said many times, healthy hair is your goal. Once, when your hair is healthy, everything is easier and better. The volume effect lasts longer. You will finally have volumized hair, that lasts long and looks beautiful.

In addition, you are going to need some styling tips, as well. Volumized hair is a consequence of good styling on healthy hair. You don’t have to be a professional hairdresser, to make your hair volumized. What you need are a few essential tips to achieve your goal — styling tips.

  • Dry your hair with the blow dryer upside down. This technique adds instant volume effect. Use a brush, and comb your hair while you dry it upside down. Brush and dry at the same time. As a result, you will get a stronger volumizing effect. If you like to make your hair straight, do this until your hair is 100 % dry. When is dry, go back to normal position, brush and add a little bit of cold air from your dryer. This way, you will ’lock’ the volume into your hair.
  • If you like to make curls with a tong, you can do the same thing, and continue with the tong, when your hair is dry. Just leave the cold air thing, after the tong.
  • If your hair is naturally curly and you want to keep the curls, then don’t comb your hair. Brush it only after the conditioner. If you use a diffuser, do the upside-down rule. If you let your hair air dry, you should make a loose bun on top of your hair. Once, when your hair is dry, take the bun off. You’ll be shocked by the result!

Hairspray is the best final option to “lock” the volume effect. Feel free to add more spray on the second or third day after washing. A good, quality hairspray is the best final option, my best friend, when it comes to volume effect!

The best thing about hairspray is that you need a small amount of products, so it feels like you gonna have it forever. I use mine, more than one year, and I use it quite often.

Please, do not put a conditioner or hair mask onto your roots! You will not have any good results after.

Do not touch your hair. This is the most common, subconscious mistake, that ruins your hairstyle, and makes your hair greasy.

Healthy hair is the most important. Treat your hair well. Use a hair mask, thermal protectors, and cut it regularly. Don’t over color it, and be careful with the chemical treatments. However, don’t let your hair be dry and damaged.
