Fine thin hair

It's fine to have fine hair

Every hair type has good and bad sides. The perfect type of hair simply doesn’t exist. Luckily, we have our little helpers, for solving all our problems.

As we already know, there are many products on the market that can help us. You only need to make a good decision, to pick the perfect match for you. Now we gonna talk about the solutions for fine hair.

What can make your fine hair beautiful?

Let’s start with proper hair care.

  • Fine hair needs to be hydrated and moisturized, but you have to pay very close attention to hydration that you are using. Your mask, shampoo or conditioner can’t be too strong.
  • It’s good to avoid products consisted of oils, or too heavy formula, that will make your hair greasy. The line between fine and greasy hair is very short. If you cross this line, you will end up with greasy, lackluster, lifeless hair. It can be even drier in the ends, without any volume on your roots.
  • No matter how hi-quality is your product, if it’s not matching your hair type, it will be very bad. The very best our recommendation is to make one good mix from the different collections.

Let’s start from the beginning, first of all, you have to wash your hair. When you have fine hair is good to avoid hydrating shampoo. This type of shampoo can be too heavy for your hair.

The better choice would be the shampoo for :

  • Volume effect ( usually this kind of shampoo has consisted of minerals, that are providing good and light hydrating, without weighing your hair down)
  • Shampoo for color-treated hair ( if your hair is colored)
  • Protein shampoo (if you have highlights, bleach or any chemical treatment on your hair) Protein serves for strengthening, and fine hair is less resistant, that’s why this is a very good solution for you.
  • Shampoo for greasy hair ( often, fine hair goes with the oily scalp)
  • Dandruff or anti-hair loss shampoo if you have this kind of problems with your scalp.

Hair masks and treatments

Again, use the light one. If your hair is all natural, or gently colored, similar to your natural color, you can use lightly formulated masks, for volume effect or lightly hydration. In this case, you should use a mask once in 10 days. Is enough.

If your hair is treated with colors, highlights, bleach, then one good protein mask would be perfect for you.

Conditioner-The same story, avoid oily and too heavy conditioners, with everything else you ‘ll be fine.

Styling

Blow drying is a lifesaver for fine hair. When your hair has the proper care, this is the next infallible step to make your hair beautiful. Straight, wavy or curly, the choice is all yours. Your qualified hairdresser will know what to do, and how to do it. If you rather blow dry your hair all by yourself, here is some useful tips for you:

  • Flip your hair upside down – This is old school technique-unmistakable.
  • Use your fingers to shape and style your hair.
  • While using a round brush, you can skip your roots and start brushing from the middle part of your hair. This way you will avoid flat roots without volume.
  • You can always make a nice ponytail or bum when you don’t have time for blow-drying and you will look very stylish as well.
  • Remember one thing – Blow drying is a lot easier thing with a styling product, whether it is a mousse, cream or spray. Depends on your final desired look, you should really use some of these products.

Hair resistant to humidity? That doesn’t exist in this world. If you spend time on your blow-dry, don’t waste your blow-dry effect with humidity, especially if it’s rainy outside. Remember, without humidity protection, rainy weather will make your hair to forget about the styling. The good thing is that many leave-in products are giving your hair this protection, including mousses, hairsprays, cremes…

Use a hairspray. Even a very small quantity of this product can save your hair from a bad day! The hairspray holds your hair, for a longer effect of blow-drying.

Did you know about dry shampoo? This little friend is a miracle worker if your hair is getting greasy quickly.

Dry shampoo is a powder – spray, formulated to reduce greasiness from your scalp. Shake well before use. Use it on a second or third day after washing, or when you notice greasy appearance.

Your hair will look like you’ve washed it right now. Spray it on from the 20cm distance. Divide your hair into a couple of sections. Spread it and massage it gently everywhere. 2 minutes totally, for a new styling.
