First of all your hair needs vitamins. Where can you find pure and fresh vitamins? In food, finally.
Hair care starts from the inside. Your hair will appreciate it, if you eat enough fruits and vegetables, vitamin B is crucial, and fats (avocado, olives, peanut, almond, etc…)
Dry hair is always hungry. And one entirely natural mask consisted of Avocado and Coconut oil, can be the best thing you have ever tried out.
As a result, this mask is will be like a spa treatment for your hair – You can control ingredients – so there are no heavy parabens, sulfates, and other chemical ingredients.
No matter how much we recommend and love professional products – a natural-homemade mask is excellent for your hair, without any side effects.
The best thing to do is to use a professional hair mask regularly, once or twice per week, and a homemade mask once per month.
Nevertheless, you must hydrate your hair enough. If you use a homemade mask only, that is way better, than using nothing on your hair. Professional haircare masks are excellent but expensive. A homemade mask is a cheaper, perfect replacement. However, you should try it, you will love the results, for sure.
There are two types of homemade masks: For the scalp and the ends. You can also put some ingredients on your scalp, and others on your length, to make the perfect mixture.
Depending on ingredients there are homemade masks with different usage. Before shampooing, as a conditioner after shampoo, or finishing, leave-in product. Therefore, you can make all types of homemade masks by yourself! With no chemical ingredients!
Scalp problems
There are four types of scalp problems
- Dandruff
- Hairloss
- Greasy scalp
- Dry scalp
The best thing is to use a professional shampoo that targets your specific problem with your scalp.
Once or twice a month you can surprise your hair scalp with a great homemade mask!

Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) is a great solution as well. Mixed with five times more water with ACV, and rub it gently, or spray it all over your scalp and hair. Rinse after fifteen minutes.
Hair loss problems
Castor oil and Coconut oil – the same quantity of each, one or two tablespoons. Massage it gently onto your scalp, and wash it thoroughly after one hour. You should use this mask frequently, like once per week, for visible results. Hair loss is a stubborn problem, and you must be patient and consistent. You can recover your hair, but it takes time.

Avocado, Coconut, Olive, Almond oils, Apple Cider vinegar, egg yolk, milk, mashed avocado, yogurt…
All these ingredients are great for your hair. You can start with one of those, or add more in your mixture! Be your own chef, and see what is the most beneficial ingredient for your hair type.
Milk, mashed avocado, ACV and yogurt can be used after shampooing, instead of conditioner (a good thing to know if you don’t have a conditioner at the moment ).
Oils and egg yolk must go before you shampoo your hair. And remember, you must do ’intense’ washing, to make sure that you rinsed out a greasy layer around your hair shaft. Otherwise, your hair will look greasy.
Homemade masks are very beneficial for your hair. You should use professional products on a regular base, and go for a homemade treatment from time to time. This treatment is a big plus in a good hair care routine!
