As we all know already, there are different hair types and each hair type requires a special treatment. But there are certainly some “universal” haircare tips, that will give many benefits to your hair and make it look beautiful. Which is the goal for every hair lover.

As a woman, I have to say, that my hair appearance is extremely important for me. That term “YOUR HAIR IS 90% OF YOUR SELFIE” is totally me.

I can be without make-up, without any problem, but when I have a bad hair day, I wish I don’t go in public at all. With good looking hair, I have confidence, and I feel good. Sounds silly, but many ladies feel the same.

So, let’s get to the point. In this article, I will share with you guys my favorite hair care tips, so as a result, you have the hair of your dreams easily!

Hair care tips for beautiful hair

Hair wash routine is the first step. Follow these simple tricks that will be nothing but beneficial for you. They do not take away your time and money.

  • Always use a timid water to rinse our shampoo. Too hot water is drying out your hair, and its heavy for your scalp as well. Could lead to more problems like dandruff, hair loss, and greasy scalp. Your hair roots and skin on your scalp should be healthy. Avoid hot water.
  • Massage your scalp every time when you wash your hair. Massage is multi-beneficial, speeds-up the blood circulation and makes your hair shiny, and most important – your hair and scalp will be 100% clean, so your styling will be long-lasting. Without massage, your hair will not be washed properly, for sure.

Nurturing and conditioning is a must

  • After shampooing, always apply conditioner or a protein hair mask. Choose and use the best product for your hair type, but never skip it. Some ladies think that the conditioner will make their hair greasy. In a reality, the proper product will always be beneficial for your hair, and every hair type requires nurturing for better growth, so don’t make your hair dry and hungry. Pick the right hair care product for your hair type, and use it on a regular basis.
  • When rinsing out the conditioner or mask, use as cold water as you can stand. If you can do it with completely cold water, even for a few seconds, that will be awesome for your hair and scalp. More shine, elasticity, and vitality in only one step.
  • Rinse well shampoo and conditioner. Make sure there are not leftovers, so your hair can “breathe”. And avoid greasy effect.
  • Don’t dry your hair with the towel. It’s ok to dry the excess water with the towel, but wrapping your hair and wait to dry under the towel is a horrible mistake. You will end up with dry, lifeless hair, provoke static electricity, etc… All things that we don’t like. A big NO for the towel-drying.
  • Once a week, or twice a month use a hair mask after shampooing. Surprise your hair, and it will surprise you back. Every hair has a tendency to go dry. With nurturing on a regular basis, you will protect your hair, moisturize it, and make it way more healthier. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and rinse thoroughly. With cold water in the last few seconds. Your hair will love that ritual! You as well. Especially the results.

Styling hair care tips

  • If you blow-dry your hair always use a thermal protection it will prevent heat damage. It’s a small investment, these products last for a long time, and your hair must be protected from the heat. If you prefer to have a healthy hair.
  • If you are a ponytail fan, please, don’t tighten up your hair too much. That leads to hair breakage, hair loss – especially in the frontal area. Your hair is delicate, so be gentle.

Bonus hair care tips for today

  • Cut your hair regularly, every 3-6 months. Depends on a level of porosity. The more colorations, chemical treatments or heaters you are using, your hair will be prone to breakage and more frequently you will have to trim your hair. If you have split ends, your hair will look lifeless, no matter what you do. Cutting hair at the right moment is a vital hair care step.
  • If your ends are split and dry out, consider using a hair serum or oils to protect and nurture your ends. With the right product, you can prolong the period between haircuts.
